Ontario Pops Orchestra Presents Mozart Extravaganza
A Spectacular Celebration of Mozart’s Greatest Masterpieces
Toronto, Canada— The Ontario Pops Orchestra proudly opens its 2026–2027 concert season with Mozart Extravaganza, a dazzling evening devoted to the timeless genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM at Trinity-St. Paul's Centre, located at 427 Bloor St. West, Toronto.
For this special occasion, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor maestro Carlos Bastidas has invited internationally acclaimed Maestro Eduardo Diazmuñoz, coming from Mexico to guest conduct the orchestra in an extraordinary all-Mozart program. The evening will also feature distinguished clarinetist Przemyslaw Raczynski as soloist.

The concert program includes:
  • Overture to Il Re Pastore
  • Clarinet Concerto in A Major
  • Soloist: Przemyslaw Raczynski
  • Symphony No. 35 “Haffner”

Eduardo Diazmuñoz Gómez

Eduardo Diazmuñoz is an internationally acclaimed conductor, composer, educator, and recording artist  whose distinguished career has spanned more than five decades across the Americas, Europe, and Australia.  Renowned for his artistic versatility, intellectual rigor, and commitment to both traditional and  contemporary repertoire, he has earned recognition as one of Mexico’s most accomplished musical  ambassadors. Life made him acquire Spanish and American citizenships.

​Przemyslaw Raczynski 

Przemyslaw Raczynski has been active as a clarinetist throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico for the past twenty years. A graduate of the University of Southern California and the University of Toronto, he was Principal Clarinetist of the UANL Symphony Orchestra in Monterrey, Mexico, with whom he appeared in symphonic, operatic, and ballet concerts, and as a soloist from 2006 to 2019.
