VIVALDI'S FOUR SEASONS

ONTARIO POPS PRESENTS:
​the Canada Virtuoso Ensemble
Toronto, ON – October 2025 – A new professional chamber orchestra, the Canada Virtuoso Ensemble, makes its highly anticipated debut with an exciting baroque program, “Vivaldi’s Four Seasons & Handel’s Water Music” The concert takes place on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Glenn Gould Studio (250 Front Street West, Toronto).
The performance will showcase two of Canada’s brightest young soloists:

• Davie Baik, violin – an award-winning artist under 30, praised for his expressive interpretations and dazzling technique.
• Beverly Wang, oboe – a rising star recognized for her lyrical artistry and vibrant stage presence.

Both artists, at the beginning of remarkable international careers, will perform alongside the newly formed Canada Virtuoso Ensemble under the baton of Maestro Carlos Bastidas.

Toronto, ON – Experience a night of cinematic and classical brilliance as the Ontario Pops Orchestra proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary under the direction of the esteemed Maestro Carlos Bastidas on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 8 PM at Glenn Gould Studio.

Renowned for his dynamic leadership and passionate artistry, Maestro Bastidas has captivated audiences across Canada with his ability to bring music to life with energy, precision, and deep emotion. His visionary programming has made the Ontario Pops Orchestra one of the most

This milestone concert will feature the epic film scores of Hans Zimmer, including music from Pirates of the Caribbean, alongside other Hollywood classics. The program also showcases Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8, a masterpiece of rhythmic brilliance and joyful intensity.
